Call for Volunteers | 2022 Communications & Marketing Committee

Are you interested in a tangible volunteer opportunity to demonstrate and/or grow a skill, meet and interact with research administration peers, and support NCURA Region VI activities?


Please consider applying for a position on the 2022 NCURA Region VI Communications & Marketing Committee!


The Communications & Marketing Committee launched in 2021 as an ad hoc committee, and is charged with management and facilitation of internal and external Region VI communications and the overall Region VI brand.


Region VI is seeking volunteers for multiple positions for the 2022 calendar year:


  • Digital Engagement Volunteer – Web Editor (2)


Responsible for routine and minor maintenance and updates to the Region VI website. One position will focus on updates throughout the year (e.g. Announcements, in coordination w/ Social Media Volunteers), the other position will focus on the yearly regional meeting page & other miscellaneous updates.


  • Digital Engagement Volunteer – Social Media (3)


Responsible for posting announcements and other activities on the respective social media outlet on behalf of Region 6. One will be lead for each Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn.


  • Design & Branding Volunteer (1+)


Responsible for creation, design, and enhancement of marketing and communication materials for Region VI, including various Region 6 templates, for regional activities and initiatives.


Positions are open to all NCURA Region VI members. Prior experience is not required for any of the positions, but members with interest and/or experience in a specific area of responsibility (whether in their research administration role, or as an outside activity) are particularly encouraged to apply.
