The frontier of research administration is constantly shifting, with new regulations, emerging technologies, and evolving expectations appearing around every bend in the trail. At this year's Regional Meeting, we invite you to Saddle Up for Success and join fellow research administrators for an exciting journey through the challenges and opportunities shaping our profession.

Inspired by the spirit of the American West, this year's program goes beyond traditional professional development, delivering practical, real-world strategies you can put to work immediately. Through engaging sessions on policy, compliance, leadership, technology, and operational excellence, you'll gain the tools, insights, and confidence needed to navigate changing landscapes and lead your institution forward.

Room Reservation

The Westin Denver Downtown, connects you to the true spirit of the Mile High City. Located in the heart of City Center, the hotel offers direct access to the people, places, and experiences that make Denver unforgettable. The Westin Denver Downtown is your ultimate destination in the 303.

Room Rates

$229.00 USD per night plus taxes and fees - Limited rooms at the meeting rate are available 2 days pre- and post-meeting.

Valet and Parking

Valet is $54 per night of stay, self parking is based on when entering/exiting. (Please note: the hotel does not own the parking structure - it is owned by the Tivol Center.) There are multiple city parking garages in the area offering reasonable rates.

Public Transportation

Recommended options from Denver International Airport to the hotel include: taking the A Line train to Union Station/the 16 Street Free Bus or using a rideshare service/taxi. There is no hotel shuttle to/from the airport.

Denver is calling…for you to submit your session proposals. This fall, our research administration community will come together for the NCURA Region VI & VII Meeting in the heart of Colorado. It’s the perfect backdrop for our 2026 theme, “Saddle Up for Success.”

The research landscape shifted fast, and the demands on research administrators are evolving just as quickly. That’s why we plan to design this year’s program to go beyond traditional professional development. You can help build a powerful, practice‑focused curriculum that tackles real‑world implementation—policies, processes, strategies, and share the tools we all need to lead confidently through change. Your voice belongs at the center of this year’s regional meeting.

We’re inviting passionate leaders like you to help shape the program by submitting a session proposal. When you share your expertise, you elevate the entire conference, making it more relevant, more dynamic, and more impactful for everyone who attends.

Don’t have a proposal idea, but interested in presenting? Complete the Speaker Interest Form, and the Program Committee will pair you with an experienced presenter in your topic area.
